Longhouse Update

longhouse_plan_4.08_webRecently a series of major contributions have been made to the Chief Seattle Council to build re-build the longhouse at Camp Pigott.  This wonderful news came almost seven years to the day that the old longhouse was taken down. With these contributions the council believes that it is possible the structure will be built starting in 2010, but only if we finish raising the needed funds. We are now over 80% to our goal of $500,000. We need a decisive wave of support that will make the new longhouse a reality. We now have less than $100,000 to raise! That is an achievable goal, but we need your help!

 

There are several things you can do at this time!

 

 

 

Longhouse fundraiser patches are still available for purchase. These limited edition flaps were authorized by the Lodge in 2005 and some are still available. There are three border colors in yellow, silver and gold. All proceeds from these purchases go to re-building the longhouse. The mail in form is available here. Please make checks payable to Chief Seattle Council and mark "Longhouse" in the memo line.

 

We have also made it convenient to make a donation to the longhouse by giving online or by mail.
