Vigil Honor TriangleThe Vigil Honor is a high mark of distinction and recognition reserved for those Arrowmen who, by reason of exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position or office to one or more of the following: their lodge, the Order of the Arrow, Scouting or their Scout camp.

The lodge publishes a list of all eligible members in January each year. Any member of T'Kope Kwiskwis Lodge may submit a nomination for the Vigil Honor. Nominations are generally due by April 1 of that year.

The Vigil Honor Selection Committee, consisting of the youth committee chairman and one youth member from each chapter, meets in April to select the nominees. No person may participate on the committee if they are eligible for or nominated someone for Vigil Honor membership. Up to three adults may attend the Vigil Honor Selection meeting if they meet the eligibility requirements: the Lodge Adviser, Lodge Staff Adviser and Vigil Honor Committee Adviser (appointed by the Lodge Adviser).

The first order of business for the committee during the selection meeting is to determine how they will review every eligible member for the Vigil Honor.

The committee's selections will be final upon approval from the Council Executive. The Vigil Honor Weekend is held in June each year.
